Attitudes and Perception of the Sport Values Transmitted by International Organizations

Title: Attitudes and Perception of the Sport Values Transmitted by International Organizations Objectives: To compare the attitudes and opinions of Czech University students towards contemporary sport, especially the values it actually conveys and which it should convey in our society. To identify the similarities and differences between the individual fields of study of the University in terms of the values they believe sport should convey. The work should also reveal whether the given view of young people corresponds to the values promoted by organizations dealing with this issue: the International Olympic Committee, the International Committee for Fair Play, the European Union and the United Nations. Methods: It was chosen a quantitative method of electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire was created, based on the findings from the theoretical part. For the creation of the questionnaire was chosen server Survio. Subsequently, the questionnaire was distributed to university students of various fields. Fair play and the rules of sport

Title: Fair play and the rules of sport Objectives: The main aim of this work is to define the concept of fair play in terms of formalism, and its detailed explanation, explanation of related concepts while using examples from practice, and subsequent critique of formalism in comparison with other concepts of fair play. Methods: The methods of compilation, analysis and synthesis were used. We used the compilation method to summarize the theme based on available literature. The method of analysis was used to understand concepts closely related to fair play as formalism and the method of synthesis to understand the whole theme through the synthesis of the explained parts. Furthermore, we used the method of comparison, for comparing fair play as formalism with other concepts of fair play. Results: The theme of fair play and its relationship to rules was explained. Problems of the interreligious dialogue in the field of sport

Title: Problems of Inter-Religious Dialogue in the Field of Sports Objectives: The primary objective of the thesis is to consider the terms olympism, ethics and fair play from various perspectives and subsequently to trace their global aspiration. The subject of the practical part is the analysis of religious dimension of sport and introduction of reality based problems indicated by athletes in terms of acceptance of the "global" ethical regulations. Another point of the thesis is to determine the attitude of the questionnaire respondents (a group of yogis) to the problematics of supporting the transfer of "western" fair play concept into "eastern" civilization and inquire the subject of possibly existing generally valid ethical values. Methods: Theoretical part of the thesis and the first section of the practical part comprises of the topical recherche based on texts analysis and comparison. Second section of the practical part comprehends informations obtained from questionnaires with open questions that are analysed and interpreted. Fulfilling the principles of fair play tennis with players from age categories under 12 and 14

Title: Fulfilling the principles of fair play tennis with players from age categories under 12 and 14 Objectives: The goal was to implement and evaluate the interview focused on compliance with the principles of fair play among tennis players in the age categories under 12 and 14. The research was based on the findings of randomly selected match participants made in the context of competition mixed tennis teams to provide insight into the present situation of fair play in these age categories, to identify problematic issues and provide recommendations for practice. Methods: The research method was a structured interview containing questions enclosed or semi-enclosed. Results: The object of the research were players of tennis in ages under 12 and under 14 born in 2003 - 2005, respectively 2001 - 2002. The results of the two-month research showed that the most serious transgressions, which are contrary to the principles of fair play, include break of game rules and inappropriate behavior. Failure to shake hand with an opponent and expressions of superiority over weaker opponents occurred to a lesser extent.
